Het Feest van Tante Rita is een vrolijke bioscoopfilm voor de hele familie, met alle bekende hits van de Minidisco (zoals Tsjoe Tsjoe Wa, Coco Loco en Dans met Tante Rita), over het allergrootste dansfeest van het jaar.Theo en Lulu gaan op vakantie naar de camping en hopen op een uitnodiging voor Het Feest van Tante Rita. Op de camping aangekomen heeft moeder Chanelle (Edsilia Rombley) een mooie verrassing; ze zijn uitgenodigd! Maar de weg naar het feest is niet zonder obstakels: met de familie auto kan niet gereden worden en er is een leeuw ontsnapt uit de dierentuin. Eenmaal onderweg worden Theo en Lulu ook nog eens gedwarsboomd door Vwo (Piet Tomassen) en zijn persoonlijke chauffeur Remco (Edo Brunner), omdat Vwo de danswedstrijd wil winnen. Kan Frank Vonk (Ridder van Kooten) de leeuw in het Tsjoe Tsjoe Wa bos vangen en lukt het de bijziende buschauffeur (Najib Amhali) om Theo en Lulu op tijd bij het dansfeest te krijgen. Het Feest van Tante Rita is vanaf 21 december te zien in alle bioscopen.
